Oddly sweetish scent that shades towards cough syrup. Tastes strongly of cherry with a slight caramel aftertaste. However, this lacks either the full sour, or the sweet fruit that I'd otherwise expect from those flavors. It's certainly an interesting departure from most beers I have had, but I'm not sure I'd have another.
