Honey and apple effervescence. Dry, thin body, almost un-cider like. Thin acidic finish. Swirled the bottle before next pour and got more apple character but still mostly empty body.

You get the peat from the whiskey barrel-aging right away, then the apples, then it mellows out like a good mead.
