From the brewer

Like most big Belgian holiday beers, Noel is bursting with subtly complex flavors and fits no particular beer style. Its explosion of sensations comes from just Belgian Pilsner malt, cane sugar, Motueka hops, Trappist yeast, water, and fermentation. Drink warm or cold in various glassware shapes and sizes to discover all its nuances. Entendez should age extremely well for years to come.

Who's been drinking this

'Twas good, but not remarkable. Hit all the expected Belgian and Christmas ale notes.
Bottle at Xbeer One
Utter perfection.
Draft
First thought: whoa! Too much cloves! Funny thing is I was making my family's tourtière which also has cloves in it. I had it with the one we ate for dinner... Prefect match! Every family's tourtiere recipe is different but this is indeed a festive beer with mine.
Bottle at Home
Smells like a tripel, starts like a tripel, but transitions quickly into a strong-hop, spicy finish. Not especially Christmas-like at all. It was nice, but I'm having a hard time identifying the mood where I buy this instead of something else.
