Since our first bottle releases in 2009, our unwavering compulsion to experiment has encouraged us to infuse our Imperial Stouts with spices, fruits, and chilies. To create Bourbon Barrel Oro Negro, our cherished Oilof Aphrodite was aged in Bourbon barrels and infused with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, habaneros, and cinnamon sticks: A refined stout filled with rich character and a touch of heat.

2019 release
Milkshake-thick stout, intensely sweet, very much like an Abraxas with some real whiskey flavors added. The habanero lends significantly more heat, and it lingers, warmly. This beer is a lot, but in glad I tried it.
