With Curiosity Seventy Nine, we experimented with how regionality affects the hop characteristics in our beer. We chose to utilize Citra grown exclusively in Washington for this batch in contrast to the Idaho Citra utilized in Seventy Eight. To our delight, Curiosity Seventy Nine turned out exceptional, and quite distinct! To our palate, Seventy Nine is more blatantly orange forward, with a less rounded character and more of a straight citrus onslaught. It conveys some serious juice notes, indeed. The flavor is carried by a tender mouthfeel, and a hefty body. We are super excited to share the unique and individual terroir of the Evergreen State with you in Curiosity Seventy Nine. Enjoy!
