A dark, malty celebration ale with layered flavors and beautifully balanced hopping. Jubelale pours deep garnet in color, medium bodied, with notes of chicory, earth, spice and fruit. To beer lovers, it’s like Yule fire and family.

2016 release
Caramel, licorice, some rootiness in the flavor. I do like this carbonated on draft more than I like it on nitro.
2015 release
The first beer of the flight with funk. I liked this more than I usually do: caramel and toast. Finishes bitter.
2015 release
Caramel, malty ale. After the hop fests of the previous few beers, this was welcome.

2013 release
Malty with some good caramel. A little too much bitterness and I already had a headache. Nitro was a nice change but I'm still not generally a fan of the flavor you get from it.
