From the brewer

The Big Meat is a rauchbier-style beer - a German beer brewed with Beechwood smoked malt. The smoked malt adds a distinct smokiness to the brew, similar to what you find in a good BBQ. At 7.6% ABV, this beer is bigger than a traditional rauchbier, but befitting to its name. To balance out the smokiness, the beer is brewed with Munich and Caramel Malts for a malty and caramel flavor that goes down smooth and is the perfect pairing to a delicious BBQ!

Who's been drinking this

A mild porter, slightly savory, with just a hint of smoke and a very light, caramel finish. No bitterness. Much lighter than I expected but very enjoyable. An easy-drinking full pint on this.
