Pale Ale? Sure. Use some wheat, rye and oats? Love that. Hop with Summit, Palisade and Super Galena but keep hop bitterness low? Aromatastic. Add copious amounts of Mandarins, Oranges and Tangerines on the hot side? Here we go. Recirculate through Acacia wood and Dekapon mandarin peels over two days post fermentation? Now it’s a Black Raven beer, whatever it takes to cram this much sunshine into a beer.

Given how much I dislike Black Raven's regular pale ale, I was very pleasantly surprised. The mandarin orange flavor is nice and round, slightly tart. Light finish.
