The Black Lager is our most popular beer that tends to trick people. With its dark color a lot of people think this beer is going to be heavy and full bodied. But because we use our own Old California lager yeast, it is very light and easy drinking. The Black Lager has nice roasted flavors and a slightly sweet taste with chocolate and coffee tones.

Dark lager with some caramel but also a bit of a woody, dry, possibly hoppy aspect that was a little off. I know that's all in the name but I was hoping for something a little more pleasantly balanced.
