This Cascadian Dark Ale is the result of our pro-am brew session with home brewer Phil Cammarano. Hefty doses of Glacier and Nugget dry hops bring the citrus, spice, and earthy tones. De-bittered roast wheat provides light touches of roasty chocolate. No matter whether you prefer to call it a “CDA” or a “black IPA,” The combination is a delightful native northwest brew.

Smells a bit disturbingly of pine cleaner, but tastes better than that. Nice roasted notes, coupled with a pithy, high alpha hop bitterness. It builds up a bit much, which by the end was really hard to take.
