Creme ales were originally brewed to compete with the growing popularity of pilsner-style lagers. Corn is added to the malt to lighten the body, while adding a unique rounded sweetness. Hops are at a minimum in this Norhwest-style lighter brew. Great for enjoying apres ski or apres-lawn-mowing. Cheers!
