Pike Kilt Lifter was first brewed in 1991 and quickly became Pike’s most recognized beer. In our 25th anniversary year we began aging Pike Kilt Lifter in whiskey barrels, producing a beer of intense flavor. After six months in Westland Whiskey barrels the Wood Aged Pike Kilt Lifter can be sipped and savored like an aged single malt whiskey.

WHISKEY! Lots of caramel and whiskey. Not very nuanced. Decent, but not memorable in a very strong category.
