From the brewer

This beer was inspired by a recent trip Head Brewer Don took to The Florida Keys for the Humphrey Bogart Film Festival. Don was sitting at the world famous Caribbean Club (used in the Bogie/Bacall film "Key Largo") under a coconut palm tree, drinking a light Island-brewed Lager and eating a slice of Key Lime Pie. He didn't want to leave, so he did the next best thing-- brought a taste of the islands back to the Naked City. This traditional Kolsch is infused with flaked coconut, Key lime zest, and Kaffir lime leaves.

Who's been drinking this

Just a taste, but it seemed better than last time. Still not a lot of coconut though.
Unlike other coconut beers, this didn't taste like toasted coconut, but rather coconut milk, dank and dimly nutty. It doesn't fit well with the otherwise bright flavors of the beer, which are nice. Too bad.
