This is Occidental's homage to the delicious ale of Cologne, Germany. Crisp and dry, it is clean and lager-like, with a pleasant, slightly spicy hop profile supplied by German Perle. Very "sessionable."

Starts with a watery cereal/yeast flavor but moves into a strong, almost distractingly pungent buttery overtone. It's not unpleasant, exactly, but it doesn't make a lot of sense.
