Back in 2009, after we emptied our Imperial Stout from its 12 months of aging in Kentucky bourbon barrels, we refilled just a few of those empties with our award winning Old Boardhead Barleywine. The result is a delicious, complex, winter warmer. Full of apricot in the aroma, flavors of fig and caramel, and a finish highlighting the oak and alcohol warmth.
