In true Ninkasi tradition, this Barley Wine Ale is hopped to high heaven. Massive in nature, its rich, malty expression is balanced by 24 hop varieties that linger on the palate. Critical Hit does maximum damage, so you might have to roll to save if you take this ale for granted.

2012 Reserve release
Sweet thick malty smell, hints of complexity. Smooth body with fairly strong hop finish. Nothing remarkable in taste but nothing offensive.
