This beer is a paradox in a glass – low in alcohol and bitterness, but surprisingly full bodied and full flavored. It’s our own take on the classic English Mild. Maris Otter, dark caramel, and oat malts give it plenty of body and a unique earthy aroma, with just a touch of bitterness coming from a small charge of Magnum hops.

Part of a flight. Right off the bat, an unusual, nutty, but funky smell. The flavor was dry, with some briny funk, a slight, savory hit of nut butter and then a dissipating finish. I liked it -- but it was nearly undrinkable after a taste of the Vienna Lager later.
