Technically a pale ale (which makes it a kissing cousin to an English Bitter or our very own Rock Bottom IPA), our Red Ale is indeed full of robust crystal hop flavor, but with a bold, toasted malt profile that makes it substantially less bitter.

Part of a flight. They called this a red, but to me it tasted like an IPA with all the flavors I don't like emphasized. Resinous, dry, slightly bitter. The only thing that said red to me was a brief hit of malt at the end, but it felt out of place.
