Slightly sweet aroma, the vanilla beans really set off this porter.
This is a beautiful beer. Light amber color, medium head. Floral scent and taste, but not cloying.
It is an ale "brewed with spices". It has a pale lemony color, and a creamy citrus peel flavor. It tasted light on the tongue, but has more body in the throat (felt thick to swallow) which was an odd sensation.
This was the only thing they had on draft. All the bottled beer was Bud, Yuengling, or Heineken.
This was the big surprise of the tasting. The blueberry flavor is clear, but not overpowering, and wasn't sweet - it comes off as more of a floral. We ended up buying a growler of it.

It is more of a novelty than a beer I would buy just to drink. The bourbon is pretty much the only flavor, but it wasn't unpleasant.

This was so good, I got another. Strong, crisp, hoppy, but not beating up your taste buds with them. My son didn't like it, but I'm a porter girl, and this was my favorite of the beers that day.
