From the brewer
Washington is a state with a lot of transplants and both of the Anderson School Brewers fall into this category. This may get a few of the locals riled up but when it comes to craft beer, we can pull great ideas and flavors from our favorites in other regions. In this case, the Front Range Scotch Ale is inspired by the local flagships in Colorado and named for the area where most of them originate. This Scottish Ale boasts big caramel flavors with a hint of roast from a light addition of dark malts. Mild English hops allow the malts to dominate the palate and layer great flavors of toffee, chocolate and caramel within a pleasant dark amber hue.
