This beer is hoppy in the sense that it provides a wonderful hop-aroma while only being 9 IBU. This is achieved by adding hops to the fermenter after fermentation instead of bittering the beer with hops in the boil. The malt and underlying bitterness balance into a clean finish leaving only subtle hints of citrus and rye.
