Urban People’s Common Lager is a malt forward beer with a clean hop finish not typical in most lagers. We made the Common Lager in an effort to honor the breweries in Oakland that came before us while imagining what beers around here tasted like back in the day. We use all German malts, Northern Brewing hops and the same Old California lager yeast strain we started with in 2009.
