Visible as a dark patch in the star clouds of the Milky Way, Coalsack is the most prominent dark nebula in the night sky. As is its inspiration, Coalsack Cascadian Dark Ale is striking deep black. Citrus, pine and resinous hop aromas and flavors from an aggressive helping of Pacific Northwest hops are balanced with a sweet malt profile and subtle roast notes. The hop bitterness leads to a dry quenching finish.
