From the brewer
ESBs are classic English ales that have been around for centuries and are actually precursors to modern American Pale Ales. BBC's version is a bit darker than most, pouring a deep amber color, but the hops are really what shine in this beer. Over 1 lb per barrel of East Kent Golding hops were used to produce a distinctly English, pungently floral aroma and flavor profile, making this beer a joy to drink.
