From the brewer

A Hybrid Style West Coast Double IPA fermented with the same Belgian Yeast strain we use for our famed Wahoo Wheat Beer. Flaked Wheat, Caramel 20L, Honey Malt and Acidulated Malt add complexity, sweetness, and a nice dark yellow hue to this Belgian inspired brew. Hopped four different times in the brew house with a blend of Mt. Hood, Galena, Nugget, Chinook, and Palisade add sharp bitterness with subtle fruity, fresh melon-like flavors. The addition of Belgian Candi Sugar in the boil adds a hint of caramel sweetness and also aids in a dry finish. The Belgian Yeast adds some nice clove esters along with hints of fig and spice. Copious amounts of El Dorado, Palisade, and Crystal hops are added to the Dry Hopping to create a big juicy West Coast IIPA aroma our Ballast Point Ales are known for.
