For the Pelican brewers, this is on the patio overlooking Cape Kiwanda and the monolith known as Haystack Rock. Haystack Pale Ale pours pale yellow with a dense head of foam. Showcasing the Mandarina Bavaria hop from Germany, this beer has fruity, tangerine notes. The Belgian yeast strain gives a subtle spiciness to the red wheat and pale malts. This draft-only beer was brewed for the Portland Cheers to Belgian Beers Festival to be held on May 30th.
