Mai Sharona is a Maibock – a fairly pale, malty, German lager style. This style traditionally served as a bridge between the dark, malty, strong beers of the winter and the pale, light, crisp beers of the summer. Mai Sharona has a bit of hop character, but is still nothing near what you would call “bitter.”
