Hearty and warming, this Winter Seasonal is just what you need to keep out
the cold. We used dark malt varieties such as Chocolate Wheat to lend a
chocolate roasty-ness, and Rolled Oats for a nice smooth mouth feel and
silky head. We also used more than 1.5 lbs. per BBL of northwest hops and
organic raisins to give this beer a floral comforting nose. At 9% ABV, this
seasonal warms you from the inside out. Think Oatmeal Raisin Cookie in a
glass, garnished with pine and citrus.
