Sticke is a stronger version of Alt Bier in hops, malt, & alcohol. Invented in Dusseldorf, sticke or secret is a reference to the secret gossip customers had when the original brewmaster weighed the ingredients. At Chuckanut, we intentionally used greater portions of German malts (Munich, Vienna, & caramel) and German Spalt hops to create this more hoppy & rich German ale.
