Late summer and early fall heralds fresh hop season. That’s when Pike Brewing’s head brewer travels the short distance to the Yakima Valley to harvest fresh Mosaic hops. We brew with these hops right away, ensuring all their fresh and floral characters make it into Pike Wolf in the Woods. Hoppy and refreshing with tons of Mosaic hop flower aroma. This seasonal is rich in mango, lemon, citrus, earthy pine, tropical fruit, herbal and stone fruit notes. Why did we name it Wolf in the Woods? That is the literal translation of humulus lupulus, the Latin word for hops.
