In an exciting collaboration, we paired our award-winning Brown Ale with an amazing coffee roasted locally in Poulsbo by Grounds for Change. Their Sumatra Telong is a classic single origin coffee known for its low acidity, full body, and earthy butterscotch notes. The coffee comes from an organic, fair trade cooperative of small-scale coffee farmers located in the highlands of Aceh province in Sumatra, Indonesia. Roast, Coffee, Caramel, Toffee, and a light fruitiness from the British yeast make this an excellent lower-alcohol session ale, showcasing some fantastic flavors.
